After the terrible Bastrop Complex Fire of 2011, the Lost Pines Forest and most of the houses had been destroyed; and families needed to rebuild.

This was one of several pro-bono contributions to the effort for a home schooling family with 4 daughters. It is built right in the heart of what was the epicenter of the burn zone.

Although completed on a very tight budget, it provided gracious living and space to accommodate all the family's needs.
