With a ramshackle cabin from the early twentieth century, the owners wanted a complete renovation and a second floor.

Building on-top of the existing structure was unfeasible, so I suggested we lift the whole thing up and build below.

​

It had to be high enough for a renovated school bus to be parked under it and accommodate their art house performance needs as well.

​

We lifted it 14' into the air and added a huge wrap around deck.

​

It's now everyone's favorite spot on the property.
